Understanding MoYus Single, Double and Triple Track
MoYu’s V7 “Track” system refers to how many layers of magnets are built into the cube. Each additional track adds another magnetic interaction point, increasing stability and changing how the cube feels during turns.
1️⃣ 🧲 Single Track
Magnet layout
Single Track uses a standard magnetic setup, with magnets placed between the edges and corners. This is the traditional magnet configuration found in most modern magnetic speedcubes.
How it feels
The cube feels clean and familiar, with light to moderate magnetic feedback. It provides good control without feeling overly strong or restrictive.
Who it’s best for
Single Track is ideal if you prefer a simple, classic magnetic feel, or if you don’t want extra magnetic resistance influencing your turning.
2️⃣ 🧲🧲 Double Track
Magnet layout
Double Track adds a second layer of magnets in the form of a ball-core. These magnets sit between the core of the puzzle and the bases of each of the eight corner pieces.
How it feels
The ball-core creates a noticeably more stable and aligned feel. Corner alignment is stronger, and the cube resists misalignment during fast or aggressive turning.
Who it’s best for
Double Track is often considered the sweet spot. It’s perfect for solvers who want added stability and control without overwhelming magnet strength.
3️⃣ 🧲🧲🧲 Triple Track
Magnet layout
Triple Track introduces a third magnetic layer, with magnets placed at the very bottom of the edge pieces. This creates additional magnetic interaction on top of the edge-to-corner magnets and the ball-core.
How it feels
This version has the strongest magnetic feedback of the three. The cube snaps into place very firmly and feels extremely locked-in.

Some solvers find the Triple Track magnets too strong and prefer the balance of the Double Track. Others who
